3.6.2. Incineration of waste: energy recovery plants
As we have seen, waste that can not be recovered, along with those which, despite being able to be collected separately but are not collected, means tons and tons of garbage which has to be disposed of without this leading to serious environmental impacts of the surroundings. The two solutions most used to date are the placement of waste in controlled landfills or in incineration facilities designed for this purpose.
